The Angler Inn
The Angler Inn is a beautifully
restored and decorated original "old Florida" home,
built on the banks of the Indian River in 1936.
Restored in 1997, the Inn is furnished rich with
antiques and history and is the only historic inn
located in Indian River County.
The 1997 restoration was a two year
project, as the original home had been left vacant for
15 years. The original grove home was built by Mr.
Stevenson, modeled after his home in New England.
It is constructed with Dade County Pine. Mr.
Stevenson was once the Mayor of Sebastian.
In 2003, Mr. Graham added the
Carriage House rooms. This project consisted of
remodeling the existing carriage house and adding four
new rooms to the complex.
Many of the antiques in the Inn are
Graham family heirlooms. The Grahams relocated to
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida from Scranton, PA in the
mid-'50's. |
